President Donald Trump’s Office of Civil Rights at the Department of Health and Human Services Announced on Monday The Maine Department of Education, the Maine Principals Association and Greeley High School all violated Title IX because they violated his executive order to keep trans athletes out of the door.
Maine Principal Association A response to the announcement was sent to Fox News Digital on Tuesday.
“The alleged violation was caused by the MPA’s policies, a direct result of Maine’s human rights action, requiring athletes to be allowed to participate in teams that are consistent with gender identity. MPA’s policies are consistent with Maine’s state laws,” the response was.

“Determining that the MPA violates Title IX’s determination first requires that the MPA be placed in Title IX by IX for obtaining direct or indirect funding from the federal government. In short, a small portion of our funds come from 151 member schools, which come from local property taxes and most of the state’s funds, so our funds come from our funds. HHS has no position on Title IX jurisdiction for MPA.”
DHHS said Maine has 10 days to resolve the issue by signing an agreement or risk referral to the U.S. Department of Justice by taking appropriate action. The MPA added in its response that it hopes to discuss the issue in the Maine Legislature.
The statement reads: “The Maine Legislature has conducted a strong debate on the Maine Legislature to determine the future of its policy on the subject. We urge all parties to raise their questions, concerns, thoughts, thoughts or opinions;
“As always, we urge the public to continue this debate among adults and make our children a child. Please do not single any of our student-athletes who only comply with the policies of the Maine Human Rights Act.. ”

State Representative Laurel Libby noted that when a biological male won the women’s pole vault contest at Greely High School in early February, the state had become a fierce battlefield for national debates about trans athletes in the women’s sports.
Trump then vowed to refusal to comply with his orders during the Republican gubernatorial meeting, thus laying off employees to the state.
Maine Gov. Mills’ office has made a statement threatening legal action against the Trump administration if federal funds are withheld the state the next day. Trump and Mills were then deceived in their speeches during a bipartisan governor meeting, amid the arguments widely publicized by the White House.

Just a few hours after the interaction, the U.S. Department of Education announced that it would Investigate the country Allow trans athletes to participate in women’s sports and potentially violate the title.
Mills agrees with the Maine Principal Association that Trump’s executive order conflicts with Maine’s current human rights law. As a result, following an executive order would be contrary to state law, which currently allows for sports participation based on the person’s gender identity.
“No president – Republicans or Democrats can withhold federal funds authorized and allocated by Congress and pay by Maine taxpayers to force someone to comply with his will,” Mills said in a statement. “This is against our Constitution and the law, and I swear to stick to it.”
