“Dear Mr. President, it is well known that Maine workers agree to your common sense approach to protecting women’s movement and space. The efforts we have made for your administration make Maine’s efforts not only in line with the guaranteed protection of women and girls for the Landmark IX of the 1972 Education Amendment, but are also identified as an infringement of family education rights and selfish rights.
“Most adults and students in Maine don’t support Janet Mills and their radical policies that force girls to compete with men in track and field. Over the years, some radical progressive people in southern Maine have detained good people in Maine, many of whom have similar relationships with states. To demand that such crazy behavior be stopped, the legislation we proposed will be voted on as early as this week, and if the governor encourages legislative Democrats to join us in solving this issue, the legislation can be voted on.
“Nevertheless, we believe that under Janet Mills’ leadership and inaction, the IX and FERPA violations will continue. She cannot continue to hide the interpretation of the Maine Human Rights Act to ignore federal law. Title IX replaces the Maine Human Rights Act and the governor is obliged to align with the protection of female athletes and the protection of parental rights.”
The 14 Senators who signed the letter were Maine Senate Republican leader Trey Stewart, Assistant Senate Republican leaders Matthew Harrington, Susan Bernard, Richard Bradstreet, Bruce Bickford, Scott Clayway, Russell Black, Brad Farling, Stacey Gilling, Joseph Martin, David Haggan, David Hagney, James Loyle, James Melbick and Jeff Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver Tiver
