Self-proclaimed “Magazine Left” journalist and author Batya Ungar-Sargon is predicting President Donald TrumpThe tariff war will bring great victories to the United States, especially the working class in the United States.
According to Ungar-Sargon, the debate on tariffs traces back to the consequences of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) implemented in 1994 and has implemented manufacturing for China for decades.
“We basically do all these good middle class jobs and transport them overseas to build middle classes in China and Mexico, which led to the expulsion of the rust belt, the decline of working-class communities, the death of despair, the entire fentanyl crisis,” Ungar-Sargon told Fox News Numbers In the interview.
“I mean, all of this stuff is derived from masculinity and the degradation of men as providers, and you know, in these factories, these factories are the center of their community. I mean, the downstream influence of Americans, the atomization of Americans, is terrible.”

Ungar-Sargon had a heated debate with the “real-time” host earlier this month Bill MaherHe was confused by the Trump administration’s efforts to bring back manufacturing work, insisting that “that ship has sailed.”
“That ship has not sailed yet,” Ungar-Sargon said in an interview. “All manufacturing is still done. It’s just done in other countries and building the middle class.”
“President Trump was the first person to be 40 years old for 30 years and said, ‘Well, why don’t we know what the problem is – why don’t we try to solve it?” she continued.

The author of “second class” points to early results of Trump’s tariff strategies, such as investments made by various manufacturers in recent weeks and prompted Mexico and Canada to suppress transits and transfers of fentanyl.
“This will stop this, and it’s our economy over the past 50 years, and it’s an upward wealth from the pocket of the working-class Americans into the elite’s pocket,” Ungar-Sargon said. “What he wants to do is to make working-class labor competition again in domestic and global markets, and that’s just a good mechanism.”

She admitted that the tariffs were pushed out “a bit of a mess”, saying Trump’s strategic elements were “bad” but stressed that the long-term impact would be “absolutely huge.”
“Trump couldn’t stand it when he was seen as Patsy in the United States. That’s basically what we have. We have a lot of countries that have huge tariffs on us and we don’t have tariffs on them. It’s unfair, it’s not right. It’s disrespectful to our working class,” Ungar-Gar-Sargon said. “And I think Trump is trying to bring back the respect and dignity of the working class, but the romance of the working class in the United States to reverse this trend of men Exit the labor forcedrop out of school, can’t get married and start a family, and all these great things. ”
