LG just announced two new earbuds in its Xboom audio product lineup. XBoom Buds for January. Xboom Buds Plus and Buds Lite (which seems relatively confusing to the names of beer drinkers), both landed on the store’s shelves sometime this month.
The buds and earbuds are filled with high-tech bells and whistles. These advanced headphones feature adaptive EQ that continuously adjusts sound profiles in real time. This will ensure “the best audio quality is guaranteed no matter how the earbuds are worn.” The company says the design makes up for changes that will cause other earbuds to degrade.
They include ANC and three microphones for making phone calls and more. The charging case disinfects the earbuds after each use with UV rays, and the company claims the process eliminates 99.9% of bacteria from the surface. This case can also be doubled as a Bluetooth transmitter, which is useful when enjoying some in-flight entertainment. It supports wireless charging, which is very good, with up to ten hours per charge on the buds and 30 hours on the shell.
Bud brightness earplugs have an advantage over standard buds and bud additions. The battery lasts 11.5 hours per charge and up to 35 hours in cases. Otherwise, these are standard earbuds that provide “clear, balanced audio for music, calls, etc.”
They offer ANC, though more streamlined than Plus and four customizable EQ modes. This allows users to “fine-tune their sound profile to match their preferences”. The exquisite boat with several different ear ends can accommodate multiple ear canal sizes.
LG has not disclosed any pricing information about these products, but the original Xboom Buds cost $109. It’s a safe option and the cost of buds will be more than just more. Hope the cost of buds is reduced.
