Lexar made a 1TB microSD Express card that works with Nintendo Switch 2

Lexar announced this week that it says the world’s first timely . Nintendo says Only microSD Express cards are supported, not regular microSDs you might already use in the old switch. Lexar’s New Play Pro MicroSDXC Express card has three storage capacity options available: 1TB ($199.99), 512GB ($99.99), and 256GB ($49.99). Buyers have quickly snatched them, though, so if you want to grab one, you have to wait until they come back for stock.

According to Lexar, the Play Pro MicroSDXC Express card provides a maximum read speed of 900MB/s and a write speed of up to 600MB/s. A 1TB microSD Express card is also introduced, along with 512GB and 256GB options, all compatible with the Nintendo Switch 2, but these Switches will not ship until June when they won’t arrive at the new console.
