More than 25,000 people will be on the road in the 40th race of the Los Angeles Marathon on Sunday, which has made racing fans happy and the frustration of the drivers traveling through the area.
The marathon starts at 7 a.m. at Dodger Stadium and ends in Century City.
Runners will head northwest to Los Feliz, then west to West Hollywood and Southwest, cross Beverly Hills toward Brentwood, where they will turn around and eventually push to the finish line at Santa Monica Boulevard and Avenue.
