Korn Ferry golfer Ryan McCormick tapes mouth shut during tournament to help with anger management

Korn Ferry Tour Senior Ryan McCormick used an unconventional method to try to calm his temper in the second round of the club championship game on Friday.

McCormick participated in the competition PGA Tour Last year, but the relegation returns to this year’s development, there must be a problem that keeps him calm on the golf course. This week, at the Landings Golf and Sports Club in Georgia, he decided to test some new anger management tools.

“This year Golf course. “I think I’ve tried a lot of things, I just thought I’d shut up. So, I put the tape on my mouth.”

He added with a smile, “I’m so angry about the golf course. I’ve run out of ideas and I thought of the tape a few weeks ago.” “So, unfortunately today comes down to today. I hope maybe it will help me. Can’t say yes or no.”

McCormick said the idea stems from his desire to create a better environment for his game partner, which he admits is “unfair.”

One of the major obstacles to his latest “solution” is how he will communicate with the caddies. McCormick’s answer to this is the old fashion approach: pen and paper.

“It’s mainly writing down numbers,” he said. “I just pointed out that sometimes his reading. It makes things a lot easier, I’ll tell you.”

While the jury might help the tape, it certainly didn’t have a positive impact on his game.

McCormick shot 72 and missed several layoffs. He entered the roster with No. 126 and is likely to drop further after Friday’s performance.
