King Charles III has experienced temporary side effects of his ongoing cancer treatment and needs to be temporarily stayed in the hospital for observation Thursday morning, Buckingham Palace said in a statement.
“After scheduled cancer treatment and ongoing treatment this morning, the king experienced temporary side effects and required a brief observation in the hospital,” the palace said.

The statement added: “The afternoon engagement in Je under the afternoon was therefore postponed. Je under has now returned to Clarence House as a precautionary measure, and the diary plan for tomorrow will also be rescheduled.
