He told Fox News Digital: “We live in times of uncertainty and chaos in the world around us, especially in a college environment filled with a bunch of people still figuring out how to grow up. I firmly believe that the Bible has answers to these questions, especially in the Gospel of John.”

Rachel Harwood, another student director at BCM, said some students left negative comments about their presentation on college students’ social media app Yik Yak. But she was not frustrated with the response, saying that contact with the Bible’s message was their goal.
Harwood told Fox News Digital: “Even if the answer is negative, students are still talking about the truth in the Bible. This is as important as positive comments because it allows students to consider their place when it comes to the most important decisions in their lives.”
She continued: “It also did not stop BCM students from stopping talking to students and teachers on campus. The next day, BCM set up tables and blackboards to talk to students and get their opinions. It’s a great way to share the gospel with students verbally.”

Shaw said their group acts as a “community of grace” for student numbers and ultimately hopes to bring others to the church and faith in Christ.
Over the past four years, he personally has seen more openness among college students Explore their faith.
