Karoline Leavitt sends message to Dems who may disrupt Trump’s address to Congress

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt responded to Democrats on Tuesday, with Democrats reportedly planning protests and President Donald Trump’s prime-time speech to Congress. Levitt dismissed these claims, saying Democrats should consider some of the “applause” that Trump will emphasize to the American people.

The theme of Trump’s speech to Congress reveals

Karoline Leavitt: Frankly, I think Democrats should consider whether they should applaud some of the things President Trump is talking about. He brought common sense back to this country. Look at the Democrats: Yesterday, 45 years old Senate Germany votes against Get men out of female sports. How would you object to this when the country is 80% for this?

Levitt: President Trump wants to reach a deal. Unfortunately, so far, President Zelensky has been reluctant to talk about a real peace deal. To negotiate peace, you have to bring both sides to the table, and politically, it is usually a bit unhappy for both sides. I think unfortunately President Zelenskyy is not aware of this at the moment. But look, the president is a trader, and that’s what he wants to do. He hopes the war is over. He wanted to stop the killing. He wants to see a ceasefire, he signed a contract with an economic deal on a silver plate for President Zelenskyy at the White House last Friday, and it’s not just an economic deal. For Zelenskyy and its country, this will be a lifeline. If you have American companies and American miners exploring those rare earth minerals in Ukraine, it is an incredible deterrent to Putin’s entry into Russia. Unfortunately, the deal was not signed because President Zelenskyy did not enter the Oval Office with the right mindset.

Democratic leaders reportedly encouraged members to keep protesting in closed-door meetings this week, but many believe that a major outbreak will only help Trump.
