Embattled principal investigator against suspicious Boston police killer Karen Read Massachusetts police have fired.
Michael Proctor, a 12-year veteran of the Army, led an investigation into the death of Boston policeman John O’Keefe, whose wife and sister said “unfairly exploiting and scapegoats” were fired.
Read, 45, a former finance professional, was accused of hitting her boyfriend, O’Keefe, in a crash before leaving him in a January 2022 snowstorm and died in the street.

Among them, he called reading “Hooker’s Job”, a “baby…no a -” and a “c —“. He also wrote that he hoped she would commit suicide and was looking for nude photos while searching for phones. The juror can be seen shaking his head.
Proctor was suspended for free in a disciplinary investigation after the trial, which led to his dismissal this week.
Internal review found that he was concerned about Homicide Investigation and “derogatory text.”

“Our highest level of police service is dependent on the public’s trust in our profession and integrity,” Massachusetts Police Colonel Jeffrey Noble said in a statement. “I and every member of this department are responsible for each other whenever any member fails to uphold our values that harm our mission.”
Proctor himself refused to discuss the tragic defeat, but his family became louder and louder as Read continued to conduct public interviews on her case.

Before reading the case, in the words of his sister Courtney Proctor, he had a “flawless record.”

Reading, O’Keefe is accused of dating Lexus SUV when she bumps into him and leaves him dead in the cold cold. Prosecutors said they were out drinking all night and had a fight.

Read’s attorney did not call back for comment.

Proctor’s family said: “Proctor and his detectives led a meticulous and thorough investigation of integrity, despite today’s unlawful dismissal and the great harm and slander that caused him and his family, Proctor still believes justice will be served.”
“He thanked the men and women of the League and Massachusetts Police for their unremitting support. His heart was always with the family of Officer John O’Keefe, who continued to endure a long and unimaginable nightmare.”

Read’s new trial is expected to be led by Special Assistant Prosecutor Hank Brennan, who once represented the thug James “Whitey” Bulger.
