Kai Trump, the president’s granddaughter Donald Trumpwas one of the masses who responded to the death of Charlie Kirk’s terror shooting on Wednesday.
President Trump announces Kirk is dead Shot killed during a speech event at Utah Valley University. Videos posted at the event appear to show Kirk being shot dead while talking to a large crowd under the white pop-up tent.
Kai Trump called Kirk “a close family” and he couldn’t believe the news.

Trump posted on her Instagram story: “I feel so sad to hear about Charlie Kirk.” “My heart is to his wife Erika and their two children. He is a close family friend, and our thoughts and prayers are with them during this tragic time.
President Trump’s announcement came in a social media post Wednesday at 4:40 p.m.

“The great, even legendary Charlie Kirk is dead. No one understands or has the heart of the young man in the United States of America better than Charlie. He is loved and admired by everyone, especially me, and now, he is no longer with us. Melania and my compassion, my compassion is his beautiful wife Erika and family, we love you, Trump wrote.
Many famous figures in the sports world have also reacted to the tragic news about Kirk, including formerly NFL quarterback Tim Tebow and Brett Favre.
Tebow wrote on X: “I was shocked and frustrated to learn about the death of Charlie Kirk. Charlie is a follower of Jesus, husband and dad. He is a passionate, courageous man and dedicated to life to make an eternal impact.”

“I’m overwhelmed by the words. All I can think of is the tragedy. Please let Charlie Kirk and his family pray.”
There are many more, such as former New England Patriots receiver Jullian Edelman and World Series Campion Teixeira, who recently revealed that he will run for Congress and shared their thoughts and prayers.
Kirk is at Utah Valley University as part of his “America Comeback Tour” and he was scheduled to appear at Utah State University later this month.
In a statement to Fox News, Ellen Treanor, vice president of strategic communication management at Utah Valley University, said the shooting occurred around 12:20 p.m. local time.

The university issued a campus-wide alert that read: “Flame a visiting speaker on campus. Police are investigating.”
Kirk is a conservative media figure and co-founder of Turning Point USA, a nonprofit that advocates conservative politics.
