Joe Bugner, heavyweight boxer who went the distance with Muhammad Ali twice, dead at 75

Joe Bugner, former heavyweight boxer Muhammad Ali He died twice in his career.

Bugner is 75 years old.

But the most exciting battle was between Bugner and Ali in Kuala Lumpur in 1975, when they fought each other for the second time. In front of a crowded crowd, Bugner and Ali went on a full 15 rounds on the canvas, although the former was once again in the losers.

Bugner fought for 32 years, ending his career in 1999, and then moving to Australia. After being diagnosed with dementia, he spent the last few years of his life in assisting his home.

Bugner ended 69-14 in his 83 battles, with 41 finishing the distance.

Bugner is a Hungarian-born boxer who moved to the UK among child refugees in the case of the Soviet invasion in 1956.
