Johnson joined Fox Sports in 1994. He would often appear with Terry Bradshaw and Howie Rob Gronkowski Provides pre-match, half-time and post-match analysis of NFL games.

The 81-year-old two-time Super Bowl champion coach revealed on “The Herd with Colin Coherd” that the 2024 season will be his last.
“I made a very tough decision, and for the last four to five years I’ve been thinking about it, and I decided to retire from Fox,” he said. “I’ll miss it. I’ll miss all the guys. It’s a great game since 31 years ago.”
Fox Sports CEO Eric Shanks called Johnson’s retirement news “bitter and bittersweet.”
“Jimmy Johnson was there when he first aired ‘Fox NFL Sunday’ 31 years ago and has been a treasured member of our Fox Sports family since, making retirement news bittersweet today,” Shanks said in a statement.
