‘Jeopardy!’ contestants slammed for ‘Wizard of Oz’ triple stumper

“Dangerous!” Fans After all three contestants were plagued by a last question about the role in pop culture, they expressed doubts.

On Thursday’s long-time game show, contestants Mary Walheim, Alfred Wallace and three-day defending champion Bryce Wargin were underperformed in the “Fictional Character” category.

“Bowk is one of these fictional people, not as big as adults…but they are not very small either.”

Walheim won a dollar bonus when she misguided “What is Lilliputian?”

“Danger!” Fans shouted a confusing final dangerous clue: “Not the first word I used”

“I’m afraid not the Lilliputians of ‘Gulliver Travel’,” Danger! ” host Ken Jennings told her.

Walheim rivals Wallace and Warcin also seem to believe that the clue refers to the 6-inch tall man living on the island of Lilliput in the classic 1726 novel of Jonathan Swift.

Wallace’s answer was revealed as “What is Lily?” The contestant bet $10,000 on winning $10,600, noting that his response was “almost Lilluputian.” Jennings agreed, adding that Wallace may have used up the full name of the character.

Woking’s first guess was “What is the Liliput?” before he crossed the answer, “Dwarf.”

Jennings then informed the contestants “What is Monkkin?” It’s the correct answer.

Ken Jennings raises the last dangerous question

Jennings told them: “In the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz, Monkkins was small, but in the book, Monkkins’ height is said to be related to Dorothy’s height.”

Wargin entered the final round with $16,000, betting $5,201, reducing him to $10,799.

But, as a four-day “Danger!” champion, Working’s total prize is $70,199.
