JBL just announced new portable Bluetooth speakers called grip. This model includes a rope hook that should make it easy to attach to a backpack, ski gear or anything else.
It also has customizable ambient lighting that actually looks useful. The company said the lighting program makes speakers “the perfect bedside companion for late-night reading.” Can the speaker double as a night light? I can see what it is used for.
As for audio, JBL promises “Pro Sound” to “Fuller Volume” compared to some competitors’ Bluetooth speakers. It has porous connectivity through Auracast, which makes it . Battery life is also here, and it can be used up to 14 hours per charge.
The speakers look durable and have IP68 waterproof and dustproof ratings. The company also noted that the device prevented it, so “it could get stuck on concrete.” The JBL grip costs $100 and comes in many color schemes. Bookings are currently open and will be sold on September 28.
