JBL just announced the Partybox 720, a very fancy party speaker. In fact, it’s the company’s largest battery-powered party speaker ever. This is a bigger thing than many human children.
It has 800W of power and can be played for up to 15 hours with a replaceable battery. There are two 9-inch woofers and a pair of 30mm dome tweeters, which should deliver powerful audio. The company includes its proprietary AI sound boosting technology, which can increase audio without distortion.
Partybox provides multi-speaker connections via AURACAST and USB-C connections to stream audio directly from the device. The speaker also created “futuristic lights” that were synchronized with the music, which was always fun.
This is a device for about people, and it also has a pair of XLR ports for connecting to a microphone, guitar or DJ console. The company said a spokesperson would “bring the karaoke meeting to life.”
However, modern party speakers are expensive. This is $1,099. That’s cheaper than Marshall Recently announced $1,300 modelbut it’s still expensive. Bookings are currently open and will be sold on September 21.
JBL also announced Boombox 4, an iterative update to Boombox 3. We liked the previous models and it almost made our list listed The best portable Bluetooth speakers. This has the same AI sound enhancement technology as Partybox for non-distorted sounds.
It’s nearly two pounds lighter than the ex, so it can be easily done on the front lawn like in that scene say what. It is IP68’s water and dust proof and integrates with Auracast to link to other speakers. It includes a replaceable battery that can last up to 28 hours before you need to go to the socket.
Bookings for Boombox 4 are currently open. It costs $550 and is available in three colors. A spokesperson shipped on September 28.
