Israeli hostage family is suing Mahmoud Khalil and others Columbia University Protest organizers are suspected of running Hamas’s “propaganda department” on campus.
The lawsuit filed a lawsuit in southern New York on Monday, suing Khalil (Khalil) nerdeen kiswani, Our Lifetime Co-founder and Chairman; Maryam Alwan, representative of justice students in Colombia, Palestinian Colombia; and Cameron Jones, representative of the Voice of Peace in Colombia-Barnard.

Their self-described behavior promotes their goals to assist Hamas’ goals, including intimidation and assault of Jewish students, illegally taking over and damage public and university property on Columbia campuses, and physically assaulting employees at Columbia University.”
The complaint said the defendant “the behavior behind it was the behavior behind the veil scarf and largely sought to be alone anonymous, but tried to intimidate the group.”

“This case will bring down scarves and revelations that violate the country’s anti-terrorism laws,” the lawsuit said. “The case will ultimately put these recognized terrorists accountable for their actions. It is time to bring American campuses back to the learning center for study and be saved by Hamas’ tragically misled accomplices.”

They include six relatives of hostages still held in Gaza. The freed or rescued hostages joined the lawsuit, including Iris Weinstein Haggai, the daughter of the slain Israeli-American and Judy Haggai. Three U.S. Israel Defense Forces soldiers are also known as plaintiffs.
Anat Alon-Beck, a law professor who works with the National Jewish Advocacy Center (NJAC), said the lawsuit highlights national security issues.
“While the United States cherishes free expression, it explicitly condemns violence. Ironically, under the oppressive regime of Hamas, those who support this support will be silent, which shows the contrast between our precious freedom and its cruel tyranny.”

“This case gives voice to heretofore seldom spoken facts. JVP, WOL, CUAD, the Students for Justice in Palestine collective, and student leaders on campuses throughout the country, are serving as instruments of Hamas, a foreign Terrorist Organization that hates the United States and the very values these anti-Israel college protestors claim to represent,” NJAC Associated Director Ben Schlager said. “These campus protesters are led by intentionally have partners with those who have any form of physical, emotional or economic harm caused to Western democratic citizens.”
