Israel urges Palestinians Leave several areas in Gaza City in the enclave to upgrade.
IDF spokesman Colonel Avicay Adraee issued a warning to the Palestinians that Israel is planning to target the areas. The warning includes a map showing the area and highlighting a building. Adraee said Israel is planning to “because of the existence of Hamas terrorist infrastructure inside or nearby.”
“For safety reasons, you must immediately evacuate it southward to the humanitarian area of Al-Mawasi, Khan Yunis,” Adraee said.
ADRAEE’s warning was issued as IDF as part of the so-called Gideon Chariots II operation.

Before its expansion of operations in northern Gaza expanded, Israel designated a humanitarian area in Khan Yunis in the south. The IDF said the area will include “basic humanitarian infrastructure such as field hospitals, water pipes and desalination facilities, as well as the ongoing supply of food, tents, medicines and medical equipment in the area.”
Cogat, the coordinator of government activities or Israeli agency, announced Thursday that thousands of tents and shelter equipment were moved to southern Gaza before the arrival of northern evacuators. Kogat said it is working with international partners to ensure the provision of humanitarian supplies.
