IRS and DHS reach historic deal to aid in pursuit of illegal immigrants subject to deportation

Exclusive: The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) have reached an agreement to allow ICE to access taxpayer information to find Illegal immigration Deported.

The Trump administration filed a memorandum of understanding with the court late Monday to develop a guardrail and filed an ICE request process with the IRS to further investigate criminal illegal immigrants who failed to fail or refused to leave the United States 90 days after the judge issued a final dismissal order.

“The IRS and immigration and customs law enforcement have entered the Memorandum of Understanding to establish clear and secure procedures to support law enforcement’s efforts to combat illegal immigration,” a Treasury spokesman told Fox News Digital in a statement.

“The base of this memorandum of understanding is built on long-term authorities granted by Congress, an agency designed to protect the privacy of law-abiding Americans while simplifying the ability to pursue criminals,” the statement said. “After four years of Joe Biden, who has flooded the entire country as an illegal foreigner, President Trump’s priority is to ensure the safety of the American people.”

An senior finance official said illegal immigration has been due process but has been overdue 90 days after the judge’s dismissal order.

The official said the memorandum of understanding outlines a procedure to ensure that sensitive taxpayer data information is protected while allowing law enforcement to commit crimes.

Senior officials said the Treasury Department is committed to protecting the privacy of law-abiding taxpayers, but the agency has an obligation to assist law enforcement agencies with criminal exceptions.

A draft agreement reported by the Washington Post last month said the address of illegal immigrants who confirm the final dismissal order would limit ICE.

The transaction will allow ICE to submit the names and addresses of illegal immigrants to the IRS, which can cross-check these Immigration tax records and provide the current address information to the Immigration Bureau.

Some senior IRS officials expressed concern that the narrow exception is only for criminal investigations rather than immigration enforcement. They also fear that the policy would hinder taxes on illegal immigration, despite illegal federal taxes being imposed in the country.
