Immersive game box Warner Bros. Discovery unites to launch a new augmented reality gaming experience based on the Batman franchise in physics venues around the world.
Immersive game box The venue was created where players could move physically and enjoy the game experience in special lighting and interactive exhibitions. Each game box has a physical entertainment room equipped with 3D motion tracking, projection mapping and touch-sensitive walls, as well as multiplayer action targeting players.
London-based Immersive Game Box and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Theme Entertainment Company is creating an AR game called Immersive Game Box Batman. Beginning April 4, 2025, fans can join forces with DC superheroes by stepping into Gotham City and immersing themselves in interactive adventures of global immersive game box locations.

The new Batman game is an innovative, immersive experience that incorporates cutting-edge technologies from IGB, including 3D motion tracking, projection mapping and touch-sensitive walls, as well as DC’s legendary storytelling. Designed for a team of two players, The Batman Game invites fans of all ages to solve puzzles, fight the iconic DC super demons, and make important decisions to shape their journey through Gotham City.
Players can explore Gotham City and step into an environment inspired and observed by the Caped Crusaders. They can take classic DC Supperillains, solve challenges, uncover mysteries, and beat Joker, Riddler, Harley Quinn, Bane and Poison Ivy. Players will solve riddles, scale buildings, drive batmobile and combat crimes to protect Gotham City.
In Batman in the Immersive Game Box, players use teamwork, quick thinking and physical movement, and players face a series of challenges in Gotham City – from driving a Batmobile, solving puzzles of riddles, thus destroying Harley’s bombs and chasing enemies in the streets. Experience blends action, problem solving and movie storytelling without headphones or handheld devices.
“We are excited to work with Warner Bros. Discovery to bring Batman into this unique immersive adventure,” Immersive Gamebox CEO Lisa Paton said in a statement.

Immersive Gamebox currently has more than 250 employees in its global business, including in-store employees, central operations and technical teams. The company has 33 locations in the United States, the United Kingdom and Europe.
To date, the company has raised $65 million in accumulated capital. The Batman Arkham VR game performed well on the Meta Quest VR platform.
“While VR is often a solo experience, the immersive game box is related to group play – friends and family work together and work side by side in the same space,” Parton said in a message to GamesBeat. “Our Batman experience uses projection mapping, touch screen and motion tracking, so there are no headphones covering your eyes or controllers.”
Parton added: “This makes it very accessible, social and family friendly while still providing immersive gameplay with up to 6 friends. This experience is designed for ages 8 and older and is perfect for birthday parties, family outings, date nights or a group of friends looking for something new.”
Parton said the company’s creative and licensing team is linked to Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences, creating new, immersive formats for their beloved IPs through a shared interest.
