The number of illegal immigrants in August increased in August, although these numbers remained well below any month for the president Biden.
Last month, Border Patrol agents occupied 6,321 people on the U.S.-Mexico border, up from 4,596 in July, a 38% increase.

The most shocking statistics are the number of immigrants tagged in the government’s terrorist surveillance list.
CBP officers identified 825 off-road vehicles at the port of entry along the southern border, and the identities of these grocery stores were found in August’s terrorism screening dataset, disrupting previous records.
The Border Patrol arrested nine people, sneaking around the names of the southern border.
Experts say this issue is one of the reclassifications. After many Mexican cartels were designated as foreign terrorist organizations this spring, people who have not previously appeared on the record like terrorists.
Still, the figure challenges the claims made by FBI Director Kash Patel in his testimony to Congress this week, saying the administration has seen “almost zero” or suspicious terrorists in the Trump-led southern border.
Mr Patel said the greater danger was the northern border with Canada, which he said was “wide” and less protected.
“We need to pay more attention to the northern border to stop known or suspected terrorists from coming in from China, Russia, the Middle East, Africa, Africa, Afghanistan and other places,” he said.
