A fugitive Links to murder After two escapes custody in the Caribbean, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Officers (ICE) agents seized it.
On April 4, 32-year-old Jamaican citizen Orville Andrew Pernell was arrested by Ice National Security Investigation and Agents of Alcohol, Tobacco, Guns and Explosives In Savannah, Georgia, After large-scale investigations and multinational corporations.
Pernell was charged with committing a “brutal murder” in St Lucia in 2020 and has been fugitive for several years, ICE officials said.

Officials said Penel fled Saint Lucia’s custody in the murder and fled to Jamaica. In addition, officials said Penel was arrested in Jamaica in 2021 and escaped detention from there.

Penel was arrested by the Clayton County Sheriff of Clayton County, Georgia for owning a stolen motorcycle and trying to evade arrest in July 2023.
Police also found a 9mm pistol found on Pernell’s property during the arrest.

Pernell was located by agents from multiple agencies and was arrested in the Savannah area, where he was detained without accidents.
Officials say Penel faces charges of becoming an alien Have weapons, And the murder will be tried after he is extradited back to St. Lucia.
