Hunter Biden participated in a discussion about the pardon at the end of his father’s White House term, a source familiar with Jeff Zients’ interview with the House Oversight Committee told Fox News Digital on Thursday.

Zients told investigators that Hunter was involved in some of the pardon discussions and attended several meetings with White House aides, the sources said.

It is unclear how much Hunter said at those meetings, or whether he was involved in a discussion about his controversial pardon.
The former president issued a “completely unconditional” pardon to his son in early December and left the office in less than two months.
Although Biden and his staff have denied the possibility of several such actions.
Biden approved nearly 2,500 commutes on January 17, setting records for most wide orders granted by the U.S. president, over 4,200 in total, the most of the day ever.
A few weeks ago, he issued a pardon for several family members, including Hunter.

Previously it was NBC information and the disastrous debate of the former president in June 2024, when Hunter sat in other stores held with Biden’s aides in the White House Donald Trump.
Zients is the last former Biden aide expected to appear before the House Oversight Committee in the autonomous driving investigation.
Sources familiar with him sitting down told Fox News numbers that weighing allowances “recognize President Biden’s speeches increase with age.”
“He also noted that the president has difficulty remembering the dates and names that have worsened over time, including during the administration,” the source said.
A second source familiar with Zients’ comments on the House Oversight Committee defended his comments.
“As the chief of staff, Jeff’s job is to make sure the president meets a range of advisers to thoroughly think about the issue so that the president can make the best decisions.”

Fox News Digital approached Zients’ attorney and Abbe Lowell’s law firm, who had previously defended his defense but did not hear it immediately.
