Additionally, Johnson set a deadline for Memorial Day to pass the program.

It is expected to include an item in the package: an increase in debt ceiling. The Senate budget package raises debt ceiling by $5 trillion. Given the volatility in the market and overall economic uncertainty, there are concerns that Congress may need to resolve the debt ceiling as soon as possible. The current estimate is that lawmakers must address the debt ceiling by the summer. However, this could be problematic if Congress cannot green light any bill to resolve debt ceilings.
