Hasbro’s Coast Wizard has fired 30 people to build Sigila recently released virtual desktop experience, Polygons Report. This application allows Dungeons and Dragons Players can build virtual 3D game boards with miniatures and dices so they can play classic desktop role-playing games remotely.
News of layoffs was first shared on March 18 In Andy Collins’ LinkedIn PostDesign Leader Sigil. “Today, about 30 talented developers (90% of the team) have been fired from the Coast Wizards’ Sigil (Virtual Tabletop) team,” Collins wrote. “I hope my former colleagues will succeed in future efforts. I will also do my best to stay crew members who will try to continuously improve and iterate the experience of the last month.”
