The Justice Department plans to call a new lineup of witnesses on Wednesday for Ryan Routh’s federal trial, accused of attempting assassination President Donald Trump In 2024, his West Palm Beach Golf Club entered its eighth day.
Prosecutors told the court they expected Ronnie Jay Oxendine’s testimony, who allegedly tied his rifle to the case and multiple FBI agents and experts sold Rout. The list includes FBI Commissioner Patrick M. Lantry; Aaron Thompson; FBI Agent Matthew S. Perry; FBI Agent Garett L. Foo; and Laura E. Haller, FBI Agents and digital forensic inspectors.
Lazaro and Samuel Plata also have planned testimony to be assisted by two Spanish/English translators in the court.

Tuesday’s lawsuit centered on Ruth’s alleged phone calls and forensic evidence of DNA. The juror saw it WhatsApp messages and texts allegedly recovered from Rout’s grabbing device, including Rout’s writing: “I hate him…no longer elected,” referring to Trump. Another message read: “If I can help me, please tell me what to do.”

FBI experts also testified that Rous’ DNA was found in the so-called sniper nest with rifle grips, bags, gloves and other prosecutors said. Trump-appointed judge Aileen Cannon clutched the speed of the testimony, forcing prosecutors to shorten the doubts and reminding Rolls (who represented himself) to stop interruptions.
