Grammarly has built a reputation for becoming a tool for spelling, grammar and English writing skills. The company is now expanding the scope of these features to support five additional languages: Spanish, French, Portuguese, German and Italian.
The company said it will now recommend paragraph-level rewriting for the new language tone, style and flow. Users will also be able to translate in any of these five languages and English. Text online in 19 languages. Multilingual writing features are available for all free and paid users.

“Our customers are always seeking multilingual support, and we are meeting them with where they are, not just the 500,000 applications and websites that grammarly already work, but also in the language they think, learn and communicate every day,” Ailian Gan, director of product management at Grammarly said in a statement.
Grammarly recorded in May 40 million daily active usersthere is no doubt that today’s increase is intended to increase this number.

The company said it drove a multilingual tool of 1 million people and saw the results were positive. However, it does not share any specific usage numbers.
Grammarly has been on release recently. Last month, it introduced new AI features and redesigned documentation UXpowered by Coda, Productivity started last year’s acquisition. The company said it plans to also bring multilingual support to its AI capabilities.
