Republicans are constantly under pressure on the Justice Department to increase confidential documents and records related to President John Kennedy and other federal secret assassinations.
President Donald Trump An executive order was signed in January that required agencies to develop plans to distribute documents, as well as documents related to the assassination of Senators Robert F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr. .
But Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-fla. House Oversight Committee Working Group on Declassification of Federal Secretsis pushing the Justice Department to get answers to when it happened – so far, she has faced silence.
“On February 11 and February 19, House’s oversight sent a letter to the Department of Justice asking for status of the release of Epstein’s archives and Kennedy International Airport,” Luna said in a post on Monday. “The Justice Department did not respond. Reach out on X because we can’t seem to get a response from AG. What is the status of @Agpambondi files? These files are ordered to be interpreted.”

Luna sent a letter to the Director of National Intelligence Tulsi GabbardAttorney General Pam Bondi, National Security Adviser Michael Waltz and White House attorney David Warrington made a briefing Thursday to learn how to release the document plan.
The letter also requests detailed descriptions when the decrypted documents will be made available to the task force and the public.
Trump’s executive order directs the Justice Department to coordinate with Gabubard, Waltz and Warrington to develop plans by February 7 to release Kennedy archives and develop a plan to pass MLK and Robert F. Kennedy Files release plan. March 9.
Additionally, Luna is pushing the Justice Department to share details about Jeffrey Epstein’s client list. The U.S. financier died in 2019 while awaiting trial on sexual trafficking charges.
Meanwhile, Bondy said Friday that Epstein’s client list is awaiting comments and that she is working on the Kennedy and Kings archives.
“It’s sitting at my desk for review now,” Bondy hosted the John Roberts host on Epstein’s archives on Friday. “That’s President Trump’s instructions.”

A Justice Department spokesman did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News numbers.
Luna’s office did not respond to a request for comment from Fox News Digital in response to Bondi’s statement.
Luna is not the only Republican lawmaker to push for the release of these documents. Senator Marsha Blackburn of R-Tenn also said Democrats weakened her efforts to “crack the open end of Epstein trafficking rings” on Monday and vowed that she would get answers under FBI’s newly confirmed FBI director Kash Patel.
“The transparency is now,” Blackburn said in an article on Monday.
R-Utah Senator Mike Lee also said in a post on Monday X that the documents belong to the American people, “This is damn time and they can access it!”

The Office of the Director of National Intelligence did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Fox News numbers, but told the Associated Press that it had submitted plans for the Kennedy archives.

The White House did not immediately respond to Fox News numbers’ request for comment. But Trump vowed during the campaign that if he wins the 2024 election, he will explain all documents related to Kennedy International Airport.
The House of Representatives’ working group on federal secret decryption is scheduled to hold its first public hearing on March 26.
