The executive order states that English proficiency “has not implemented requirements for years and the roads in the United States have become less safe.”
Rep. Byron Donald’s new legislation, weighing station enforcement in the Intercept and Guarding Highways Act (Weighing) Act will enable Trump’s executive order to codify and allow the point to use weighing stations along the federal highway to enforce English proficiency requirements.
“The state failed to enforce basic and common sense requirements for truck drivers,” Donalds told Fox News Digital. “At the state level, Gov. DeSantis and Commissioner Simpson have taken action to protect Floridians, but we must expand this effort nationwide.
“Under my ‘Weighing Act’, all weighing stations along the interstate highway will be required to enforce President Trump’s executive order to review commercial driver’s license violations and verify truck drivers’ English skills,” Donalds added. “Safety must be standard, not exceptions, and on Capitol Hill, I’m working to ensure every step of the American people. Eliminating these threats to the American people is not negotiable.”

While states determine their highway enforcement policies, federal highway funding could be at risk if they refuse to comply Point to request Perform an English proficiency test.
“If you can’t understand our signs, you shouldn’t be on our path,” Wilton Simpson, Florida’s own agricultural commission, told Fox News numbers.
