Forhan’s social media posts have caused a huge boost on the internet and on Republicans in the state, with many calling on him to quit the game.

“No one should say, about anyone, let alone just as someone assassinated,” Dave Yost, a Republican of Ohio attorney general, told Fox News Digital. “He just proved that he was a grumpy kid and was not suitable for public office.”

Ohio Secretary of State Frank Larose is a Republican who told Fox News Digital that Forhan’s posts “may be designed to get attention” and “a political point that scores cheaply.”

La Ross added that in today’s Democratic Party, “this rhetoric” is becoming increasingly “mainstream”.

“But this kind of rhetoric has become too mainstream in the Democratic Party, which comes from someone seeking to be the nominee for the highest position in the state,” La Ross continued. “Literally, this person is the target of law enforcement investigations, calling his actions “a credible risk of escalating into violence or acts of violence.” He should watch him carefully and actively condemn Elliot Forhan, who soon becomes the face of the Democratic Party.”

Fox News Digital also spoke with Ohio’s lawyer and Republican National Committee (RNC) agent Mehek Cooke, who said Forhan “must withdraw immediately” from the attorney general’s campaign.

“Ohio’s top law enforcement officer must serve as defenders of justice and defense of justice, not violent cheerleaders,” Cook said. “A person celebrating a murder cannot speak on equality, fairness, or justice, let alone serve Ohioans. This is a moral decay that we will not tolerate.”

After Kirk’s death, many in the government and private sectors have publicly called on social media to laugh at or celebrate the death of conservative activists.

The White House is seeking additional security funds for executives and judicial branches as it leads to the consequences of the assassination, Fox News Digital Report this week.
