Google has officially Revealed Pixel 9A Smartphoneits new mid-range phone will be retailed for $499. The biggest change to the A-series smartphone is its appearance, as the latest models throw the camera bar on the back of the phone.
Smartphones are undergoing chip upgrades as the new model has Google’s Tensor G4 processor, while its predecessor has a G3 chip. The 9A also promises over 30 hours of battery life, with 8GB of RAM, and with 128GB or 256GB of storage.
It will start in April and is available in four colors: peony, iris, porcelain and obsidian.
Additionally, the smartphone has an upgraded 6.3-inch Actua display, which Google says is the brightest ever. For comparison, the new display is 35% brighter than the 2700 Nit’s Pixel 8A. The 9A also has an adaptive refresh rate of 120 Hz for a smoother experience.

The upgraded dual rear camera system of the smartphone includes both a 13MP super camera and a 48MP main camera. It also features a macro focus for the first time on A-series devices, which will allow close-up details.
The 9A is equipped with AI-powered photography features including Add Me, Best Take, Magic Editor, Magic Eraser, Audio Magic Eraser, Night Sight, Astrophotography and New Panorama with Night Sight.
Google also noted that the 9A is the company’s most durable A-series phone because “its upgraded IP68 water and dust resistance means it can withstand spills, drips and ticks.”
