Google releases Gemini 2.5 AI model for complex thinking

Google has metal pedals in its AI development. Just a few months after debut Gemini 2.0the tech giant has announced another upgrade Gemini 2.5. Like any new AI release, Google is doing a great job on Gemini 2.5’s LMARENA, especially its capabilities in coding, math and science.

The first model in this series is the Gemini 2.5 Pro experiment. Google says it is a mindset model that aims to provide responses based on reasoning, analytics and context, rather than the answers provided by classification and prediction-driven models. The Gemini 2.0 series approach is different from the one Google uses, which starts with a more efficient, cheaper version of Flash.

“With Gemini 2.5, we have achieved new performance by combining basic models with improved training,” the company said in Google DeepMind’s CTO, Coray Kavukcuoglu, the CTO attributable to Koray Kavukcuoglu, Google DeepMind. “Looking forward, we build these mindsets directly into all of our models, so they can handle more complex problems and support more capable, context-aware agents.”

Google has just started rolling out Gemini 2.0 to its services, using it for newly added AI mode Search and In-depth research Used to handle more complex queries. With today’s release, I hope to hear more updates about getting this latest version. Gemini 2.5 Pro Experiment is now available in Google AI Studio, and Gemini Advanced Members can use it directly in the Gemini app.
