Google Announce On Wednesday, it is updating its “Results About You” tool to make it easier for users to protect and delete their personal information from search results. The company said it has improved the registration process and applied for a deletion directly from Google Search.
This tool can be used to actively monitor and delete content such as phone numbers, email addresses, or physical addresses in search results.
With this latest update, users can now click on the three dots next to Google search results to see the updated menu, which allows you to submit your deletion request immediately with the Delete This Result option.
In the past, you would have had to navigate to the About Your Results tool, which is hidden in your Google Account settings.

Additionally, users can now use the three-dot menu request to refresh their information.
For example, if you deleted content about yourself from a website and have not been updated to reflect this, you can request a refresh so that Google’s system will “republish” the page for the latest information.
To use the feature, you need to fill out a form to provide your contact information to allow Google to check if it matches the information on the search results page. If Google finds your information results, you can choose to receive notifications.
The company notes that your information is not shared or used to personalize your experience in Google products.
This feature is available to users in the United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, Canada, South Africa, Brazil, Mexico, Spain, France, Sweden, Thailand, Thailand, India and Indonesia.
