The report, released by the Santa Fe County Animal Control Department, notes that some mummies in the animals may have masked changes in the organs, but there is no evidence that poisoning, infectious diseases or trauma may lead to death.
The report also noted that the dog’s stomach is empty and only a small amount of hair and bile are found.
