Santa Fe, New Mexico – Jesse Kesler Gene Hackman and Betsy Arakawastill uneasy about the couple’s mysterious death.
Kesler knew the couple well, refusing to describe what he saw when he arrived at the actor’s house and made a creepy discovery on February 26 but told Fox News Digital he was “heartbroken.” He is the owner of Mudcity Builders in Santa Fe and has been a private contractor for Hackman and Arakawa for more than 16 years.

Authorities believe Hackman, 95, and Arakawa, 63, have been dead for more than a week, but no cause of any death has been determined.
The audio of Kesler 911 phone was obtained on Wednesday by Fox News Channel. In it, Kessler begged frantically to rush to his residence in New Mexico immediately. In the recording, he can be heard telling the operator that he “found two or one dead persons”[s] In the house. ”
Kessler urged: “Please send it to someone very quickly.”
Kesler said Hackman and Arakawa treated people “like gold” and he, his son and all his employees remember meeting the couple.
Kesler said that leading to a strange death, he never noticed anything unusual, and he wanted people to remember that Hackman and Arakawa were “beautiful people, kind and generous people.”

right hackman dies His wife launched on Wednesday after New Mexico authorities believed the death and the death of one of the dogs. Officials confirmed that no external trauma was seen on Hackman or Arakawa, and that the case is still open for autopsy and toxicological results.

At a Friday press conference, Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza confirmed that the last event mentioned on Hackman’s pacemaker was February 17. When asked about February 17 (nine days before his body was found), it might be the day Hackman died, Mendoza noted that it was a logical conclusion.

“I think this is a good assumption for the last day of his life, according to pathologists,” Mendoza said. After he also discussed with medical examiners, he confirmed that Hackman and his wife “tested negatively on carbon monoxide.”
“The way and cause of death have not been determined yet,” Mendoza said.

Although Kesler refused to elaborate on what he saw, while the dispatcher talked to the paramedics, he heard the audio crying and repeatedly said, “Damn it.”

“[The house] Closed. It is locked. I can’t go in. “He said. “But I saw her lying on the floor through the window. ”
The caller told the dispatcher that Hackman and his wife were not “wake” or “alarm.”
