Prime Video’s luxury TV adaptation of Robert Jordan’s epic fantasy novel “Back”, Wheel of Time Season 3 promises more power struggles, new leagues and unpredictable villains.
Although the production of the first season was hampered by the pandemic and the shift in fan base from the complex plotline of Jordan books, Wheel of Time was a hit, sitting nicely with Amazon’s other big budget show King of Rings: Rings of Power.
Season 3 brings us back to the story of Josha Stradowski and his journey from a simple shepherd to a doomed hero known as the “Dragon Rebirth.” Threats to Rand and his allies are breeding.
The White Tower is the home of all-female magic user AES Sedai, separated, while the Black Ajah (Rogue Aes Sedai swore to the dark) is run unorganized. Meanwhile, Lanfear is a forgotten Lanfear with Rand’s deep past that will force the show’s protagonist to make a defined choice between light and darkness.
