Your Pixel 10 Might Have Issues With Older Wireless Chargers

When Google introduces Pixel 10 lineup In August, it became one of the first major Android phones Google calls PixelsNap to get the QI 2 wireless charging standard. However, Almost immediately After the release of the Pixel 10, people noticed its wireless charging problem.

Some people have a hard time charging with new phones PixelsNap Chargerand others have problems with old wireless chargers, including Google’s own pixel rack. Most problems occur when they occur on a phone – whether they have a magnet array or not.

Pixel 10 Pro XL Charges on Pixel Rack

This is the only way I can charge the pixel 10 pro XL on the original pixel rack.

I have both first and second generation pixel racks and if nothing happens, I will charge my Pixel 10 Pro XL without any problem. However, when I add the box to my phone, the problem begins.

I have three mobile phone cases. Moss Ultra Thin Transparent Casethis Grecazo is suitable for magnetic slim boxes and an unnamed soft TPU case. If my phone has any case and I try to charge vertically, it starts charging and then stops after a second or two and continues doing this.

I can solve the first generation pixel rack by turning the phone level, but it will still charge very slowly. I can’t seem to fix it for Pixel Rack 2 – vertical, horizontal, no power-up.

Not everyone has this problem

This problem does not seem to be common. CNET editor Patrick Holland said he had no problems with the Pixel 10 Pro.

A Google spokesperson told me that the Pixel 10 lineup is not optimized for the older QI wireless charging standards, but that doesn’t necessarily mean the phone won’t work with older wireless chargers.

Qi 2 intersects the older standard, but the height of the phone and the position of the charging coil on the phone and charger are still factors. If you have questions, you may see if deleting the case helps.

The prospect of replacing an older wireless charger with a newer wireless charger is not ideal, especially if you sell for one or two Google’s own pixel racks for $80. However, if you want the best wireless charging speed for a brand new Pixel 10 phone, you won’t just support wireless chargers that support only older QI standards.
