iPhone 17 Pro has officially unveiled Apple’s “Awe” event in Septembernew with basic iPhone 17 and super skin tone iPhone Air. And the new Universe Orange Definitely a compelling update to the Pro lineup, Apple’s new flagship product is fully upgraded, including a new supercharged A19 Pro processor and a longer 8x Zoom camera.

The iPhone 17 Pro rose slightly from last year’s iPhone 16 Pro’s $999 price. Now, it has tripled its storage space, which is actually the same as the equivalent 256GB iPhone 16 Pro, which has caused fears of a sharp rise in prices Due to Trump’s tariffs for the time being.

iPhone 17 Pro: Design and Display
The biggest body change is the back of the phone. Now, camera units are spread throughout the top of the phone, rather than simply occupying a small square in the corner. The camera itself is still clustered in the same location as before, although Apple says the extended space provides more space for the battery and the updated telephoto zoom camera, which I will do later.
Orange is the color that stands out here.
The Pro model is now made of aluminum, rather than the titanium frame that debuted on the iPhone 15 Pro. It’s an integrated structure that should make it particularly durable – so is the new “ceramic shield” hardened glass on the front and back, Apple says, more scratch resistant. From the front, the phone is almost indistinguishable from previous models, with only the Dynamic Island facing the display toward the top. Apple has not confirmed the phone’s waterproof rating, but it is certain that almost all iPhone situations will continue to be rated by IP68 since 2018.
The new collection does bring some new colors. However, the vibrant orange model is my personal favorite. I find that the Pro iPhone series usually takes itself very seriously, relying on darker or softer tones. That new life orange looks right on my street.
iPhone 17 Pro: Camera
The professionals’ cameras have undergone a series of major upgrades. The optical zoom now is now 8 times, doubles the zoom range of the last model. It offers an equivalent focal length of 200mm, which is very useful for photographers who want to really do the action from a distance. The telephoto camera has a sensor that is 56% larger than before and offers a resolution of 48 megapixels.
However, the hardware of other cameras has largely not changed, however, the sensors in the main or super cameras have no physical changes, and all three cameras offer 48 megapixels. However, it has been updated with the new Square-Format 18-megapixel sensor, which can be cropped horizontally or in landscape orientation and can be better digitally stable in video.
The video shooter was not forgotten either. Pro phones can now be shot in Apple’s Preors Raw codecs – an update to the existing ProRes codecs captures more data at the capture point, allowing for more in-depth and accurate post-processing. As Apple says, Prores Raw is the industry standard for professional filmmaking, and it’s crazy to see it on the phone. As Photographers, video producers and YouTubers are all excited.
iPhone 17 Pro: A19 Pro processor
The A19 Pro processor has improved CPU and GPU, and Apple believes that it will perform 40% better with the iPhone 16 Pro. Staying cool is a new thermal management system that includes a steam chamber that uses deionized water to actively cool the phone as it gets hot. The aluminum alloy obviously dissipates 20 times better than the previous model’s titanium design.
iPhone 17 Pro: iOS 26
The iPhone 17 series will be launched with the latest iOS 26 software. We’ve played Early Beta Forms of iOS 26the biggest change is the appearance of the software. Apple’s new “liquid glass” design tends to have glass transparency in its menu and notification panels for a brighter, more modern look.
From the images I’ve seen so far, I’m very passionate about this style. CNET’s Blake STIMAC tested the Beta and said, “Under all this, liquid glass hasn’t reinvented the wheels, which is a good thing.” I find it encouraging. I can’t learn my own way for a brand new OS, but I’m glad to see any tweaks that make things fresh.
iPhone 17 Pro: Battery
Apple says the iPhone 17 Pro packs the largest battery ever on the iPhone, and as a result, it offers the best battery life of any iPhone ever. The company isn’t exactly the specific description of how big the battery is, but as always, we’ll be eager to understand its performance.
