Different settings from other AI tools What is Notebooklm, it only relies on the original material you provide to answer questions or generate content. This makes it very useful for school work. Simply put your class notes or lesson plans and let NotesbookLM break it down for you.

Flashcard
If you want a short study instead of having a lengthy study guide, try NotebookLM’s flashcard. If you need to remember core concepts or something about a specific time, date, person or type, these fast batsmen are here to help.
You can customize the number of flashcards (less, standard, more) and the difficulty of the problem (simple, medium, hard) with just a few clicks. And, if you focus only on part of the original material, you can specify the theme or front of the card to shorten memory purposes.

Once done, you will receive a quiz overview and you can view the questions from there.
Quizzes are what they sound like and are perfect if you want to test your knowledge about a particular topic. Like flashcards, you can choose to customize the number of questions and difficulty levels. Once you have finished the quiz, you will get a score and you can choose to view the quiz again.
Upgrade report
NoteBookLM users have long been able to generate study guides and briefing documents based on uploaded sources, but there will be more options soon. Once launched, you will be able to generate custom reports based on your own tips, blog posts, and more.
Clicking the Report button in Studio Tab of Notebooklm will open a new view and a format section with four options Create your own,,,,, Briefing Document,,,,, Study Guide and Blog Posts. Below this, four AI-generated format options will be provided, specific to your source.
Study Guide
Chat with Gemini in NotebookLM has also been upgraded. Users can change the response of conversation styles to options like “Analyst” or “Guidelines”, and you can customize the response times you receive.
Peer review notebook
Google partnered with OpenStax, a publisher of Open Education Resources, to provide six new public notebooks based on peer-reviewed academic books.
These six titles are Other public notebooks Distribution in partnership with publications, researchers and nonprofits.
