TCL launches its latest flagship TV, QM9K, which is expected to have “unparalleled” picture quality and is the first to include Google Gemini AI Car in.
QD-Micro-led QM9 joins TCL QM8K As part of the final performance series, it includes the company’s halo control system for better contrast. The halo system includes “micro OD”, which reduces the distance between the backlight and the diffusion plate to help eliminate image blooming. TCL said the TV contains up to 6,000 dim areas, which is compared with the 3,800 areas of the QM8K for better contrast control. LED backlights also promise highlights with over 5,000 peak brightnesses.
The TV also has a Crystglow WHVA panel that claims to have an oversized color viewing angle. Additionally, the QM9K includes an “Edge-to-Edge” panel that leaves a smaller gap between the TV and the bezel.
Gemini
Google announces its nest device to get Gemini Assistant on October 1the TCL QM9K will be the first TV to be uploaded with Gemini.
The TV includes an online sensor that can wake up the screen when the user enters the room and displays a screen saver, or answer queries through the TV’s far-field microphone and Gemini voice assistant. TCL says the sensor cannot turn on connected devices, but can use HDMI-CEC When the man leaves.
The TCL QM9K is designed to compete with King OLED of picture quality, and it remains to be seen whether TCL can be at a lower contrast ratio than LG or Samsung OLEDs.
The TV will be available in four sizes – 65-inch, 75-inch, 85-inch and 98-inch – and will be available for sale later this month at Best Buy and will be confirmed for the price.
