I love this time of year. As the days get colder and the air becomes clearer, the NFL season is now in full swing. Thanks to Apple Arcade’s latest football match, NFL Retro Bowl ’26, I can play every day.
Apple Street Full of familiar and classic games, as well as exclusive games you can play $7 per month (£7, AUD$10). Many of these games are found in the App Store, but they may have paywalls and ads that hinder your gaming experience.
Apple Arcade subscription gives you access to games without paywalls and ads, a feature that is usually named “plus”. This is All Games Apple plans to bring services into service on September 4. You can also view games added in August, e.g. Worms around the world.
NFL Retro Bowl ’26

Same as last year Vintage Bowl ’25. This year’s game launches a game mode called the NFL Retro Bowl Championship Rankings. In this mode, you can play as your favorite team in the weekly showdown that matches the 2025 season.
Hopefully my Cincinnati Bengals will return to the Super Bowl this year, but if not, I can at least bring them to this game.
