In the world Game PCAcer is perhaps known for its budget-friendly nitro choice, while its predator brand is obscured by Alienware, Razer, Omen and others. That said, for each new generation, its gaming system has become easier to recommend in the competition, including its latest gaming laptops and desktops, announced on Wednesday at IFA 2025 in Berlin.

The top of the Predator Game desktop is the Orion 7000. Judging from Acer packaging to something in this large black tower, gaming and AI workflows will have a lot of performance:

- Up to 128GB of DDR5 RAM
- You don’t have to worry about the growing gaming size, supporting up to 10TB of storage – 6TB solid state storage with two available slots for 2 2TB hard drives
- It supports Wi-Fi 7 and offers a lot of ports for all your accessories including 3.5mm audio (1 front, 3 audio outputs with audio outputs on the rear), USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 (5), USB-A 2.0 (2), USB-C 3.2 Gen 2X2 (1), and Thunderbolt 4 (1)
- Staying calm is Acer’s Predator Cyclonex 360 liquid cooling system and several RGB LED fans
The Orion 5000 is slightly smaller, but still has high performance parts.
The Predator Orion 5000 is a slightly smaller and less expensive option that should still meet more budget-conscious hardcore gamers.

The Acer Nitro 70 gaming desktop is a better choice for budget awareness.
For AMD people, AcerThe Nitro 70 comes with an AMD Ryzen 9 9950x3d processor, up to NVIDIA RTX 5090 GPU. Nitro 50Available with up to AMD Ryzen 7 8700G processor and RTX 5080 GPU. However, the Nitro N50 N50-100 and Nitro 70 N70X3D-100 models will not appear in North America.

Predator Helios 18 is a large gaming (or workstation) laptop.
On the top of Acer’s gaming laptop is the new Predator Helios 18P AI,,,,, Acer said it was “desktop-level AI computing” in a 7.7-pound 18-inch laptop.
- Using Intel VPRO to Intel Core 9 Ultra 285HX Processor
- Supports up to 192GB of ECC memory
- To NVIDIA RTX 5090 Graphics Chip
- Up to 6TB of PCIE Gen 5 SSD storage (don’t worry about how big the next duty game will be)
- It also supports Wi-Fi 7 and comes with two Thunderbolt 5 ports, three USB-A ports, HDMI 2.1 and an SD card slot
- In addition to the RTX 5090 GPU, the show’s stars include 18-inch, 16:10 mini LED, a 3,840×2,400 4K display with a 120hz refresh rate and 1,000 column brightness
It arrives in North America later in 2025, and while Acer hasn’t announced pricing yet, rest assured that it will cost a penny.
The updated Acer Nitro V 16 gaming laptop is coming in.
The spec sheet for the Nitro V 16 laptop is slightly less impressive, but the higher price is $999.

The remaining specs for the V 16 are not announced yet, but we do know that it has a 16-inch, 2,560×1,600-pixel display with a refresh rate of 180Hz. The Nitro V 16S is designed to be more portable, but it still contains the same core Ultra 9 270h processor and RTX 5070 laptop GPU, which is only 19.9mm thick in a thinner metal chassis. When it arrives in North America later in 2025, the slim will cost $100 and starts at $1,099.
