Fitness tracking company Polar launches loopwhich is $200 for screenless wearables, it says there will be no subscription fee. Bookings will open on September 3, and Polar Cycle will start shipping on September 10.
Like other fitness trackers, the polar ring will record steps, sleep modes and daily activity modes, but Polar is touting the lack of screens as “unobtrusive” and “cautious.” The loop is a wearable strap for your wrist, has eight days of battery life, and is continuously used and stores data for four weeks. It is synchronized with polar traffic applications to view statistics and analyze information such as sleep and training data.
Because it has no buttons, it can be initiated in the application or passively through a way the company calls “automatic training detection.”
Its colors are available for use with Greige sand, black and brown copper. Other colors are available for $20.
There is already a market for wearables without screens Including hoop 5.0 wristband and Smart Ring For example, OURA RING 3.
