Tim Cook's Tweet Teases Apple M4 MacBook Air Reveal Tomorrow

Apple will soon boost its MacBook Air to speed. It’s been almost a year since we got our last year MacBook Air update, and Apple has released it M3 Air In early March 2024, it is expected to use the M4 processor for a spring refresh for some time. Tim Cook made fun of using tweet yesterday“There’s something in the air”, almost confirms the arrival of the M4 MacBook Air.

MacBook Air is delayed MacBook Pro As for Apple Silicon, the Pro model has been received since last fall M4 update. The MacBook Pro isn’t the first Apple device to get an M4. That was the first time Apple released its iPad Pro in May 2024 M4 processor. So the arrival of the M4 MacBook Air won’t surprise anyone. We’ve all been waiting.

M4 MacBook Air Arrives Tomorrow

The cheapest M4 MacBook you can buy right now is the 14-inch Pro for $1,599. If Apple keeps the same price in 13-inch air, the M4 MacBook is more expensive, at $1,099. You can expect M4 to perform better than M3, but keep expecting. Consider incremental growth in CPU and GPU performance, but not anything revolutionary.

The M3 chip in the current 13-inch MacBook Air has 8 CPU cores and 8 GPU cores, while the M4 chip in the baseline 14-inch Macbook Pro has 10 CPU cores and 10 GPU cores. M3 and M4 chips have 16-core neural engines that support Apple Smart Features, but Apple says the M4 is twice as fast as the M3 with AI workloads.

Both the 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air models are expected to receive an M4 update, but so far we have not heard any rumors about design tweaks. This seems to be an internal update only.
