Bowers & Wilkins PI7 S2: While they have been replaced by new and improved PI8, the PI7 S2s with a dual-drive design are still the best real wireless headphones. Sony Linkbuds: Unlike the “Open” link book, the LinkBuds S is a traditional noise isolation earbud with tips in your ears. They are more compact and lighter than Sony’s former flagship WF-1000XM4, and also feature Sony’s V1 processor. (Sony has since released the more compact WF-1000XM5.) While their sound and noise cancellation doesn’t fully measure the XM4 or XM5, they’re still pretty good. They are the Sony Buds who want 80% of the features and performance of Sony flagship earbuds. Jabra Elite 10: Yes, the Jabra Elite 10s have some potential drawbacks: They have a lighter noise reduction compared to their competitors, at $249, and they may have to lower it a little bit to compete better with the AirPods Pro 2 – at least for Apple users. Bang & Olufsen Beoplay Ex: The $399 Beoplay ex Buds from Bang & Olufsen are the best real earbuds in the company. They have a comfortable, safe fit (perhaps for those with smaller ears), top-notch build quality, excellent sound, good sound, good noise and improved voice call performance than B&O’s EQ Buds, and there are three microphones in each ear that reduces background noise while picking up your voice. Although they exceed most people’s price points, they are arguably the best earbuds with stems and deliver the sound of the AirPods Pro 2 with better clarity, deeper bass and richer, more accurate sound. Audio-Technica Ath-Twx9: Over the past few years, Audio-Technica has launched several real wireless earbuds, but none of them are good. With the ATH-TWX9 having a premium design plus advanced sound and powerful feature suite, it includes intense active noise cancellation, multi-point Bluetooth pairing, and a box equipped with wireless charging and UV LED sterilization. In the box, you also find a large number of ear tip options that I am able to seal and fit comfortably. These buds are IPX4 splash-proof and have 6 hours of battery life at medium volume levels.
1More Evo:1more is known for making money and it released a set of more advanced buds equipped with 10mm dynamic drivers with balanced armatures. They support Sony’s LDAC codec for Bluetooth high-resolution wireless streaming and provide music services such as Qobuz or tidal services that provide high-resolution music files. The Evo Buds sound better than the company’s other earbuds, providing better clarity and bass definition and a relatively wide soundstage. They also feature solid noise cancellation, multi-point Bluetooth pairing, wireless charging, transparency mode and IPX4 splash resistance. Battery life is 5.5 hours in both 5.5 hours when ANC is turned on and 8 hours. A 15-minute fast charging provides you with 4 hours of juice.
Beyerdynamic Free Byrd: Beyerdynamic may be late to play, but finally introduces its first true wireless earbuds with aggressive noise cancellation, up to 11 hours of battery life (noise cancellation) and impressive sound quality. Learn more about debut in my full Beyerdynamic Free Bird Review.
Sony WF-1000XM4: Sony’s WF-1000XM4 was released in 2021 and won the CNET Editors’ Choice Award. They are still great earbuds, but Sony now releases the next generation WF-1000XM5. Final audio ZE8000: Japan-based final audio, made some high-end fever headphones, including $4,299 D8000 Prohas released its Ze8000 ($199) real earbuds with unique stick design and excellent sound. The biggest tips fit my ears, although they do stick out a little.

JBL Live Pro 2: Over the years, JBL has launched some nice real earbuds, but nothing really excites me. With the arrival of new products with Samsung owned brands, this situation has finally changed Live Pro 2 and Free 2 bud. Two sets of buds – the Real-Time Pro 2 has a stem, while the Live Free 2 has a pill-shaped design – provides a comfortable fit and offers powerful noise reduction, good sound quality and voice performance, as well as a powerful set of features including multi-point Bluetooth pairing, IPX5 Splash Proface Proface-Proface-Proface-Proface-Proface-Proface rating and wireless charging.
