The next part of the series will jump out of five years instead of picking it up straight after the painful match of the Season 1 finale. According to an official press release, “Joel and Elie are attracted to each other, a world that is more dangerous and unpredictable than the ones left behind.”

Given that the Secret of Darkness Joel decided to align with Ellie in the final episode of Season 1, I can only imagine what kind of issues could complicate their relationship throughout the process.
Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey play their roles with Joel and Ellie, Gabriel Luna returns Tommy and Rutina Wesley, who return to Maria. The newcomers to the series are Caitlyn Dever (playing Abby), Isabela Merced (playing Dina), Young Masina (playing Jesse), and Ariela Ariela Barer (Mer), Tati Gabrielle Danny Ramirez (as Manny) and Jeffrey Wright ) plays Isaac. Catherine O’Hara will also be a guest star.
