5 Burning Questions White Lotus Need to Answer
How will the Ratliffs learn about Timothy’s crimes?
Ratliffs serves as the mantle of a highly privileged, dysfunctional family this season. Victoria (Persey) needs to add medicine to herself in order to work in public. Their eldest son, Schwarzenegger, was driven only by status and power while his profession and with the women he met. Their daughter Piper (Hook) wants to live with Buddhists and youngest son Lochlan (Nivola), who wants to impress the Saxons, who, under the influence of some drug, crosses his sexual behavior with him.
But this is the family’s patriarch Timothy (Isaacs), who is the most troubled person. He has been working on since the first episode, that is the money laundering program he was involved in will lead to the downfall of his professional and personal life. He didn’t deal with it, but walked around the haze induced by Laurasim throughout the process. His thoughts on suicide are disturbing and ends his family’s lives to protect them from the ultimate impact of financial crimes. But, so far, none of these violent ideas have been realized.
This begs the question: how to reveal Timothy’s secret to his family and how will they respond? Is it possible that he would join his daughter in that Buddhist shelter instead of facing the trouble of waiting for him at home?
Is Greg guilty?
Greg (Gris) is the only character to appear in all three seasons of White Lotus. In Season 3, Belinda recognizes him and only discovers that her old friend Tanya (Jennifer Coolidge) and his wife have passed away in the mysterious situation of Season 2. Is Greg involved? He disappeared before law enforcement officers could question him, and now he is in Thailand.
In the seventh episode of the season, Greg gave Belinda $100,000 to help start a business. But is this to make Belinda ruin the money he paid for his new life in Thailand? If so, it’s hard to think Greg is innocent.
Will Rick’s revenge mission backfire?
Rick (Goggins) has been meditative, frustrating chaos since the first episode of the season. It turns out that he wasn’t going to take a vacation in Thailand, but rather taking revenge on the man he thought he was murdering his father.
Episode 7 finds out that he is finally facing Jim (played by Scott Glenn), a businessman he’s struggling for his childhood. Rather than kill him, Rick just threw the information into his face, knocked the chair down and fled his estate. He said he was closed, but it felt like it wasn’t finished yet. Is Rick’s mom right to say Jim murdered his father? Or maybe Jim isn’t who Rick thinks he is?
Will Gattok step up his efforts to bring the White Lotus robbery to justice?
After White Lotus was robbed by gunmen, Gattok has been working hard to pay more attention to being a security guard. He even held the gun and did some impressive target exercises to improve his defensive skills. Crime haunts him.
But episode 7 reveals the potential identities behind the criminals who attacked him: Valentine, the hotel’s “health mentor” and his two Russian friends, Aleksei and Vlad. How will he solve these newly discovered information? What’s more, will they be treated to some of the crime dramas in the finale as Jaclyn (Monaghan), Kate (Bibb) and Laurie (Coon) compete with these three matches?
Who will die?
Like every season of White Lotus, it dies at the end of the finale. Immediately, I think Timothy will be someone to go. He has the biggest failure and has been hurting himself for a while. However, after talking about death with Buddhist monks, I felt it on my nose.
My money is on Jaclyn or one of her friends Rick (because revenge will never go as you want) or Gaitok. Mike White is really good at letting us guess until the end, so we didn’t really know until Sunday night.
