Today’s New York Times chain The puzzle can be tricky. The words are related to each other, perhaps interacting with NCAA tournaments and baseball games, but not all words are easy to find. Especially one of them is a word more than what I think is an actual word, and it is difficult to cause cramping. (Tip: It describes three championships in a row with the same team.) Clue words to unlock tips in the game
Your goal is to find hidden words that fit the puzzle topic. If you are stuck, find any words. Whenever you find three words with four letters or more letters, the chain reveals one of the topic words. These are the words I used to get these tips, but any words with four or more letters you find will work:
- Back, back, mace, mic, mic, slat, slate, tape, tape, cry, cry, cry, simulation, simulation, simulation, make, come, play games, nap.
Answers to today’s chain puzzle
These are the answers that are linked to the topic. The purpose of the puzzle is to find all of this, including spangram, a topic word, from one side of the puzzle to the other. When you have all of this (I initially thought there were always eight, but learned that this number might be different), every letter on the board will be used. This is the non-cross-angle answer:
