Nintendo Switch 2 Bookings in the United States will start on April 9, but due to New tariffs President Donald Trump implements this week. It is unclear whether this means Nintendo also has to raise the price of the conversion successor, which currently starts at $450.

“Nintendo Switch 2 reservations in the U.S. will not begin on April 9, 2025 to assess the potential impact of tariffs and evolving market conditions,” the company said in a statement. “Nintendo will update the timing later. The June 5, 2025 release date remains unchanged.”
